ABOUT US

The Kickapoo Golden Girls are one of southwest Missouri's best, area high school dance teams.

The girls pride themselves in academics along with their dance abilities. They work hard year round as part of the Golden Girls team, as well as other clubs, organizations, school activities and are part of area competitive dance teams. 

​

Located in Springfield, MO at Kickapoo high school,  the team has been recognized not only at regional and state competitions, but in 2020 were ranked 18th in the nation in their division at UDA Nationals at ESPN in Disney World.

The Golden Girls are coached and choreographed by Lauren Ackerman and sponsored by Amy Barron.
